FAQ
For drop-off and pick-up, enter with all other vehicles at the Route 83 entrance, then proceed to the designated drop-off/pickup area near the entrance to the Fitness Center. Police will not allow vehicles to park or linger in this area; so, make sure your party is waiting for you before you enter the area.
Yes, an ATM is located at the carnival ticket kiosk. However, the Carnival, beverage tent and most festival vendors accept credit cards.
For the safety of pets and festival attendees, dogs are not permitted at the festival. Village municipal code 6.12.130 prohibits "any dog, even though on a leash, to be in or on any public property during festivals , or special events." The only exception is for trained and registered service animals.
However, dog owners are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the Buffalo Grove Days Dog Show on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. at the Mike Rylko Community Park Nature Classroom, located at 1000 N Buffalo Grove Road. Head to the activities page to learn more.
Buffalo Grove Park District ordinance 1.23 prohibits smoking or vaping on Park District property, which means the entire fest is a nonsmoking environment. Thank you for your cooperation.

Currently, there are no plans for a Car Show at Buffalo Grove Days this year. However, we invite those who are interested in showing off their hot rods to submit an application to participate in this year's Parade on Saturday, August 30!
Unfortunately, no. Due to the proximity of homes to the festival grounds, it is not safe to conduct a fireworks show at Mike Rylko Community Park. Many years ago, fireworks were held at Buffalo Grove Golf Course when BG Days was on the village campus. A fireworks show at the golf course would not be visible from the current festival grounds. It would also overburden the police and fire resources by having to support crowd management at both locations. You can always catch a fireworks show on the Fourth of July at Willow Stream Park!
