Fun & Food
10 am - 12 pm
Every year, the Rick Kahen Commission for Residents with Disabilities team up with other BG Days volunteers to present this special program for people with disabilities and their immediate families (living in the same household) to enjoy the fun of the festival. The event takes place in the carnival area. This year, we will be providing a complimentary sack lunch, with the option for people to stay and eat in the tent or surrounding picnic tables. Food will also be available for purchase, if desired.
Please note: Complementary sack lunches will be passed out at the event for the first 325 registrants and their family members. Pre-registration is required. Register here. Registration closes on Friday, August 25.
Thank you to our in-kind sponsors - Keynote Consulting, Inc, Kona Ice, North American Midway Entertainment, McDonalds (Route 83 & Arlington Heights Road), Walgreens (Northeast Corner of Lake Cook Road & Buffalo Grove Road).
11 am - 3:00 pm
We are excited to also be bringing this popular event back, with a new twist. This year it's a cruise-in style event, so you can see a mix of classic cars and models of newer generations. There will be live music for attendees and car owners to enjoy. Food trucks will be available on site, too!
Want to bring your ride? No registration required! Just show up; gates open at 9 am to claim your spot of choice. All participants will receive a souvenir.
Get to know your way around the fest!
